Brookridge sales tax pause at I-435 and Antioch, resuming 2032
Council will vote on an ordinance stopping collection of the special Community Improvement District sales tax at the northeast corner of I-435 and Antioch starting October 1, 2026, with collection set to resume January 1, 2032.
Why it matters: Shoppers at that specific commercial district will pay a lower sales tax rate for several years before it returns.
